Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Safety Officer or Safety Administrator to support a site-based operation in the Blackwater/Emerald region. This role involves day-to-day safety, health and compliance support across the site.

You will work with site teams, develop and maintain Health Management Plans, coordinate health assessments, and manage safety documentation. Previous mining, resources or construction experience is highly regarded, with strong administration and stakeholder

Safety Officer / Safety Administrator

We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Officer or Safety Administrator to support a site-based operation in the Blackwater/Emerald region.

This role would suit someone with previous experience working in a safety or health administration function within mining, resources, construction or another operational environment.

A key requirement of the position is previous experience with site health assessments and Health Management Plans.

About the role

Working closely with site teams and key stakeholders, you will provide day-to-day support across safety, health and compliance activities.

Key Duties

• Coordinating and supporting site health assessments
• Developing, reviewing and maintaining Health Management Plans
• Maintaining safety and health documentation and records
• Supporting site compliance requirements
• Assisting with safety reporting and administration
• Monitoring documentation to ensure records remain current and accurate
• Liaising with site personnel and relevant stakeholders
• Providing general administrative support to the safety and health function

About You

• Previous experience as a Safety Officer, Safety Administrator, HSE Administrator or similar
• Demonstrated experience with site health assessments
• Experience working with Health Management Plans
• Strong administration and document management skills
• A good understanding of site-based safety and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
• Previous mining, resources or construction experience will be highly regarded
