Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking Safety Managers to join our NSW business as an expression of interest for ongoing safety leadership on large-scale projects. You will provide strategic direction for HSEQ, coordinate audits, assess risks, and deliver expert safety and environmental guidance across sites.

Ideal candidates hold tertiary WH&S qualifications, 7–10 years of safety management experience, Lead Auditor credentials, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Tertiary level or equivalent qualifications in WH&S management.
• 7 - 10 years operational experience in the application of safety management principles.
• Lead Auditor qualifications in WH&S management systems.
• Working knowledge of HS&E and Work Cover requirements and implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others.
• Knowledge of process auditing principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and required reports for HSEQ across the project.
• Coordinate and undertake regular audits and inspections covering management systems, safe work procedures, behavioral safety and preventative measures.
• Undertake thorough risk assessments of and assess all tasks and activities.
• Provide timely and expert Safety, Quality and Environmental advice and assistance.
