Job summary

Golding Contractors Pty Ltd at Curragh Mine near Blackwater is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to influence stakeholders, lead risk-based safety initiatives, and support operational teams to achieve safe and successful outcomes.

This is an 8/6 DIDO role from Central Queensland, with camp accommodation provided if required. You will lead safety assessments, investigations, audits, and ongoing SHET compliance to foster a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Relevant Diploma qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ mining experience.
• Strong experience in risk assessments, auditing, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading and facilitating risk assessments.
• Supporting incident investigations and reporting.
• Conducting audits, inspections, and safety observations.
• Assisting leaders with SHET compliance and improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining SHET systems, registers, and reporting requirements.

Join Golding at Curragh Mine near Blackwater and play a key role in driving a strong safety culture across site operations.
