Job summary

The Sydney Opera House is seeking a Safety Consultant – Risk to strengthen our safety culture by developing and implementing risk management systems, processes and procedures across the organisation. You will work closely with teams and stakeholders, providing expert advice on WHS legislation, facilitating risk assessments, maintaining risk registers and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in WHS and significant experience in a Safety Advisor or Safety Consultant role.
• Experience developing and implementing safety risk management systems, procedures and controls.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards, incident investigations and risk management.
• Proven ability to lead WHS projects, investigations and change initiatives, delivering practical outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, build relationships, deliver training and foster a positive safety culture across diverse teams.
