Job summary

Stratco (Australia) Pty Limited in Ormeau is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support manufacturing and installation teams across multiple sites. This permanent, full-time role delivers practical WHS guidance, site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations to protect people and assets.

You will lead toolbox talks, safety training, rehabilitation efforts, and maintain WHS documentation while contributing to audits and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in WHS or higher is required.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• High level of computer literacy and familiarity with WHS documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical WHS advice across manufacturing and installation environments.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and hazard identifications.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training and toolbox talks.
• Support rehabilitation and return-to-work processes.
• Maintain WHS documentation, reporting and records.
• Analyse safety data and assist with audits and performance reporting.
• Build strong relationships with operational teams through on-site presence.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Safety Advisor based at Ormeau. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing practical WHS advice across manufacturing and installation environments
• Conducting site inspections, risk assessments and hazard identification
• Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions
• Coordinating and delivering safety training and toolbox talks
• Supporting rehabilitation and return‑to‑work processes
• Maintaining WHS documentation, reporting and records
• Analysing safety data and assisting with audits and performance reporting
• Building strong relationships through a visible, on‑site presence

You will bring:

• Proven WHS experience, ideally in manufacturing or construction environments
• A practical, solutions‑focused mindset
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities
• Confidence working autonomously with operational teams
