Job summary

Ramelius Resources Limited is a successful ASX-listed gold producer with five operating mines across Western Australia. We seek a Safety Advisor to join our Exploration team on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, embedding a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance and advancing safety systems across remote operations.

Based mainly at the MMG hub with travel to other exploration sites as required. We value practical, field-based safety leadership; the role requires 3+ years mining safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years safety experience in mining, exploration or resources.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).
• Solid knowledge of WA WHS legislation and mining regulations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Current WA Manual Driver's Licence (C Class) and First Aid/ CPR.
• Comfortable FIFO across remote exploration sites.
• Experience with INX or similar safety management systems an advantage.
• ICAM Lead Investigator training and Cert IV in Training and Assessment well regarded.
• Gold exploration or junior mining environment experience a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on safety advisory support across exploration site activities
• Conduct site inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments
• Investigate incidents and near misses and develop corrective actions
• Support development, review and implementation of safety management plans and procedures
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and training to site-based personnel
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with WA WHS legislation, Ramelius standards and site requirements
• Liaise with contractor teams to ensure risks are managed effectively
