McConnell Dowell is seeking a Safety Advisor for Thompsons Creek Stage 1 - South, a major wastewater infrastructure project for Sydney Water in Western Sydney. Thompsons Creek Stage 1 - South is a major wastewater infrastructure project being delivered for Sydney Water to support Western Sydney’s rapid growth.
The project includes 3.4 km of new wastewater pipeline, delivered using trenchless micro-TBM technology at depths of up to 12 metres, along with 24 temporary shafts and 23 permanent maintenance holes.
As Safety Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting safe and successful project delivery. With a strong site presence, you’ll work alongside construction teams, subcontractors and project leadership to identify risks, strengthen safety practices and promote a positive safety culture.
This role provides the opportunity to take ownership of safety outcomes on a significant infrastructure project while working within an experienced and supportive project environment.
