Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Safety Advisor to embed a strong safety culture on the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project in Brisbane. You will perform risk assessments across site and office areas, update prevention plans, monitor WHS compliance, and support audits and incident investigations.

The role requires a degree in one of several disciplines, 3+ years in safety/WHS, and strong English communication with proficiency in Office tools. Join us to drive safety excellence on a major rail program.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Nursing, Medicine, Law or Psychology.
• Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention is desirable.
• Experience in a similar safety or WHS role – minimum 3 years.
• Strong English communication skills and Office Suite proficiency.
• Working knowledge of WHS legislation and audit procedures.

The project includes level crossing removals, rail system upgrades and road works, supporting the region ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Games.**About Opportunity** Reporting to the Senior Safety Advisor, you'll help embed a strong safety culture across the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project. You'll carry out risk assessments across site and office areas, update prevention plans to reflect project-specific hazards, and monitor compliance with WHS regulations.
