Job summary

Pact Packaging in Melbourne seeks a Planning Manager to lead forecast, demand and supply planning and the S&OP process, reporting to the Plant Manager – Closures and Speciality.

You will bridge supply planning and manufacturing scheduling, applying strong forecasting and data analytics to improve stock availability and ensure the right products are at the right time for customers. Collaboration with production and suppliers is essential, especially during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Supply Chain or Manufacturing discipline.
• Experience in FMCG or Pharmaceutical manufacturing preferable.
• Advanced SAP and Excel skills with data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage forecast compilation and short/long-term planning.
• Coordinate with a large supplier base with long lead times.
• Drive S&OP process improvements and forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with production to maximise capacity during peak periods.
