Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta is seeking dynamic part-time nursing students in their second year to join the RUSON program. You will support experienced nurses by performing delegated aspects of care and expand your clinical skills while completing your studies.

Successful applicants will work under supervision, with the potential for extra shifts when available, and be part of a team delivering care across acute and sub-acute services in a regional health setting.

Qualifications

• RUSON nursing framework applies to tasks under supervision.
• Part-time role while nursing studies are in progress.
• Assist in delegated client care under a supervising nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist to provide patient care in acute care settings under RN supervision.
• Work one shift per week as part of the RUSON program; extra shifts may be available.
• Collaborate with nursing team to support efficient patient flow.
