Job summary

Biosecurity and Rural Services is seeking an experienced Rural Programs Coordinator to support the delivery of rural programs across the ACT. You will provide practical advice on sustainable land and livestock management, work closely with rural landholders and other stakeholders, coordinate key land management activities, and lead a small team.

The role also contributes to biosecurity preparedness and incident response, helping protect the ACT’s rural environment and agricultural industries

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering rural programs and advisory services.
• Knowledge of sustainable land and livestock management practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice on sustainable land and livestock management to rural landholders and stakeholders.
• Coordinate key land management activities across ACT rural programs.
• Lead a small team and contribute to program, contract and administrative responsibilities.
