The University of Melbourne invites applications for the Deputy Director Of Medical Student Education - Wangaratta at the Department of Rural Health, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. Based at Wangaratta Clinical School, you will lead rural clinical medical education for RCS students and oversee curriculum delivery, assessment, and student support.

You will collaborate with Northeast Health Wangaratta, coordinate student movements between clinical school nodes, and contribute

Formación

• Hold a medical qualification recognised in Australia and Fellowship of an Australian College or equivalent postgraduate degree.
• Experience teaching medical students including clinical teaching, curriculum delivery, and course coordination.
• Ability to lead medical education and engage with clinicians and health professionals across settings.
• Knowledge of regional hospital environments in Victoria and willingness to engage with university systems and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead rural clinical medical education for RCS students based at Northeast Health Wangaratta.
• Oversee curriculum delivery, assessment, and documentation for the RCS program.
• Provide high quality clinical teaching plus pastoral and academic support for Wangaratta-based RCS students.
• Coordinate student movements between Clinical School nodes with DDMSEs across Ballarat, Echuca, and Shepparton.
• Engage in departmental, community, and professional activities including conferences, seminars and supervision.
