Qualifications

• Holds a medical qualification recognised in Australia and Fellowship of an Australian College or equivalent postgraduate degree.
• Demonstrates substantial experience teaching medical students, including clinical teaching, curriculum delivery and course coordination.
• Shows leadership capability within medical education and ability to engage across clinical schools and university systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Northeast Health Wangaratta’s Medical Education Team to align and continually improve the RCS curriculum.
• Oversee organisation, delivery, and administration of the RCS curriculum, including student assessment processes and documentation.
• Provide high quality clinical teaching plus regular pastoral and academic support for Wangaratta based RCS students.
• Coordinate student movements between Clinical School nodes across Ballarat, Echuca, and Shepparton with DDMSEs.
• Engage in departmental, community, and professional activities, including conferences, seminars, and supervision.

Education
