Job summary

The University of Melbourne invites applications for the Deputy Director Of Medical Student Education in Wangaratta. You will lead rural clinical medical education for RCS students based at Northeast Health Wangaratta, overseeing curriculum delivery and student support.

You will collaborate with regional health partners, supervise teaching and assessment, and contribute to professional engagement and research supervision.

Qualifications

Hold a medical qualification recognised in Australia and Fellowship of an Australian College or equivalent postgraduate degree.
Significant experience teaching medical students and coordinating clinical education.
Ability to work with regional hospitals and university systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Northeast Health Wangaratta to align the RCS curriculum.
Oversee delivery, administration, and assessment of the RCS curriculum.
Provide high quality clinical teaching and pastoral/academic support for RCS students.
Coordinate student movements between Clinical School nodes.
Engage in conferences, seminars, and research supervision.
