Western NSW Local Health District is seeking a Staff Specialist Rural Generalist for Mudgee Health Service. This role focuses on senior clinical and leadership responsibilities across emergency, inpatient and outpatient care.

The successful candidate will provide procedural services, lead quality and safety initiatives, and work within a supportive team to deliver timely and effective patient care in a rural setting.

Qualifications

• Unconditional General or Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Fellowship of RACGP and/or AFRRM or other relevant College.
• Experience in basic and advanced medical procedures including ALS.
• Ability to lead clinical care and teach others.
• Commitment to patient safety and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Provide high quality emergency, inpatient and outpatient medical care.
• Offer procedural services within scope of qualifications and practice.
• Exercise leadership for best-practice clinical services and safety.
• Contribute to quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
• Collaborate with health and community partners to enhance patient journeys.
