Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Able to gain registration with AHPRA.
• Proven GP experience, preferably regional/rural.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient consultations, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnosis of illnesses.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans, including prescribing medications and referrals to specialists.
• Providing preventive care and health education to patients.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance skills.
