Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough patient consultations, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnosis of illnesses
• Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and referrals to specialists
• Providing preventative care and health education to patients
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
• Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Ability to gain registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Proven experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a regional or rural setting
