The University of Melbourne invites applications for a Part-time Senior Lecturer, Medicine based at Echuca Clinical School in the Department of Rural Health. You will lead and coordinate general medicine teaching for Rural Clinical School students, working closely with Echuca Regional Health to support learning and student outcomes.

You will design and deliver high-quality teaching, coordinate student placements and ward-based experiences, contribute to assessments, and participate in research

Qualifications

• Medical qualification recognised in Australia.
• Fellowship or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Experience in clinical teaching and medical education.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organise and deliver high quality general medicine teaching for RCS students.
• Coordinate student placements, ward rounds and inpatient experiences with Echuca Regional Health.
• Orientate students to Echuca Regional Health wards and processes, and provide ongoing guidance on professional conduct and skills.
• Contribute to assessment design and examinations, ensuring fair, transparent and standards-aligned student evaluation.
• Participate in departmental committees, RCS educator meetings, and relevant research activities, including supervising student research projects.
