Rural Financial Counselling Service North Queensland is seeking a Rural Financial Counsellor to support primary production enterprises across multiple LGAs. The role is home-based with frequent travel, focusing on financial analysis, case management, and lender negotiations to help clients adapt after adverse events.

Applicants must address selection criteria and provide a Diploma of Financial Counselling or enrol immediately.

• Analyse clients' farming or business activities to identify financial options for improvement.
• Provide case management support to help clients achieve self-reliance.
• Assist clients in negotiations with lenders and financial institutions.
• Provide information on government and other assistance schemes to facilitate participation.
• Provide referrals to professionals and government agencies.
• Maintain client records using a client management system.
• Help clients understand their financial position and options.
• Improve clients' ability to plan operations and set realistic goals.
• Connect clients to information about government and industry assistance.
• Develop plans to implement client options.
