Taroom Hospital in Taroom, QLD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 2-week contract. Ideal for nurses with strong emergency and rural remote experience. Contract dates: 14 September 2026 - 27 September 2026. Up to 80 hours per fortnight. Agency rates, travel assistance from Brisbane, and up to $200 travel reimbursement. Compliance includes AHPRA, referees, vaccination records, Police Check, and Working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• ALS required.
• Cannulation competency required.
• Emergency nursing experience required.
• Rural & Remote experience preferred.
• Team Leader experience preferred.
• Triage competency required.
• Ability to participate in on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a rural hospital setting.
• Participate in emergency department activities and on-call rotations.
• Support clinical team and leadership in patient management.
