Job summary

Tasmanian Department of Health in Campbell Town seeks a Diversional Services Coordinator (Relief) to coordinate the Campbell Town Health and Community Service Adult Day centre, planning, implementing and evaluating activity programs for frail, aged and disabled clients.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to health promotion activities and supervise staff and volunteers, with professional development opportunities and a rural community focus.

Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant Diversional Therapy or Lifestyle and Leisure training program.
• Ability to deliver activity programs to frail, aged and disabled clients.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of the Campbell Town Health and Community Service Adult Day centre, planning, implementing and evaluating quality client programs.
• Actively participate in coordinating Health promotion programs.
