Job summary

The Department of Health, Tasmania invites applications for a part-time Diversional Therapy Assistant based at the Latrobe Adult Day Centre. This fixed-term role supports clients to engage socially and maintain wellness through activities and outings.

You will work with a small team to develop programs, keep records, and help create individual care plans that align with funding requirements and care standards.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to work with community clients in a social environment.
• Adaptable and team focused.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Centre program in collaboration with clients and the coordinator.
• Maintain client records and assist with care planning.
• Support clients to develop individual care plans and abide by care standards.
