Freedom Therapy Services in Parramatta, NSW. Diversional Therapist role, full-time, community/mobile with travel to homes and venues. Plan, implement and review leisure and social programs to promote participation and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have AQF certificates and experience with disabilities, plus strong communication and collaboration skills to work with families and professionals.

Qualificações

• AQF Certificate III (including at least two years on-the-job training) or AQF Certificate IV.
• Three years or more of relevant industry experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or complex support needs.
• Strong communication, documentation and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess client interests, strengths and support needs to inform individualised activity plans.
• Plan and evaluate leisure, recreation and community participation programs.
• Collaborate with families, carers and professionals to tailor supports.
• Monitor engagement and progress; maintain clinical records and reports.
• Provide guidance and supervision to staff involved in therapy programs.
• Develop and review positive behaviour support strategies to promote wellbeing.
