Job summary
Queensland Government’s Theodore Multipurpose Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide advanced, patient-centred care and to lead clinical decision-making within a rural health setting. You will coordinate ward operations, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement through education, research, and practice evaluation.
Essential: AHPRA registration with Nursing; postgraduate qualification is desirable.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
- Postgraduate certificate or diploma desirable for role.
- Strong leadership and communication for collaborative care.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced, patient-centred nursing care.
- Lead clinical decision-making and coordinate patient care.
- Coordinate ward/unit shifts and lead multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff and students.
- Drive continuous improvement through clinical portfolios, education, and quality review.
