Job summary

NSW Health’s Southern NSW Local Health District invites a Clinical Lead CNC Gde 2 to advance AOD care in Bega. You’ll provide expert clinical consultancy, drive quality improvement, and lead education across the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes in a rural setting.

The role offers NSW Health Rural Incentive up to $10,000 and permanent part-time employment with 30 hours per week, located in Bega.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience in AOD services.
• Postgraduate course in Alcohol and Other Drugs or enrolment within 12 months is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex, person-centred expert clinical consultancy for AOD patients and colleagues.
• Lead quality improvement and staff education across multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver consultant advice and support to AOD clinicians and other health professionals.
