Job summary

The University of Western Australia is seeking a part-time administrative coordinator for the Rural Clinical School in Port Hedland. This fixed-term position supports students, academic staff and Medical Coordinators with a broad range of administrative services and advice.

You will respond to complex enquiries, identify improvements to systems and workflows, and work within a collaborative Academic Services team to ensure accurate and timely operations.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of education, training and substantial administrative experience.
• Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support in a complex and customer-focused environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business systems, together with a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver a broad range of administrative services that support students, academic staff and Medical Coordinators at a designated RCSWA site.
• Provide high-quality advice, information and support on procedures, processes and operational activities while responding to complex enquiries with initiative and sound judgement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to administrative systems, workflows and service delivery practices.
