Job summary

Qualifications

• SC1 Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• SC2 Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating their impact on student learning growth.
• SC3 Monitoring and assessing student learning; using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• SC4 Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to establish collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader school community.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching-related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
