Job Description: Overview of duties Batch Processing and Scheduling: Running and scheduling batch jobs, ensuring tasks are completed according to production schedules. System Monitoring: Monitoring system performance, console messages, and responding to critical alarms to maintain system availability. Technical Support: Performing 1st level technical support, troubleshooting issues. System Maintenance: Assisting in system updates, patch management, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements. Key z/OS products used for the role Scheduling – Control-m, CA7, IzWS (OPC), JCL Output – OMCS, Control-d, SDSF Automation – OPSMVS, Netview Other – JES2 / JES3 Requirements Demonstrated ability to learn new technology Good understanding of ITIL processes Work independently with minimal supervision Broad Knowledge of IT based products Self-motivating This is a 24x7x365 role Australian citizenship for clearances on our restricted accounts.
