Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A valid Forklift License up to 8 tonne.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety in the workplace.
• Ability to use computers for data entry and machine operation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines.
• Set up and install molds and other machine fixtures.
• Set grinding and cutting edges.
• Carry out work safely according to procedures.
• Maintain production schedule and process efficiencies.
• Ensure product quality meets specifications and perform checks.
• Participate in improvement projects.
• Perform manual handling tasks as part of the role.
• Be flexible to shift work and WHS practices.
