Job summary

James Hardie Australia Pty Ltd in Carole Park is seeking a Day & Night Shift Operator - Manufacturing to run concrete mixing, stacking and molding processes. You will hold a valid Forklift License and bring hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires safe work practices, data entry using computer systems, and flexibility to work 4 on 4 off with 2x12 hour shift blocks (6am-6pm then 6pm-6am). Training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

Experience in a quality assurance environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace.
Ability to use computers for entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation.
Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines.
Setting up and installing molds and other machine fixtures.
Setting grinding and cutting edges.
Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with Safety procedures as applicable.
Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained.
Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule.
Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specifications and that process checks are performed as required.
Actively participate in improvement projects.
Manual Handling tasks are performed as part of this role.
Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work.
Complying with all WHS safety practices and procedures.
