James Hardie is seeking a Shift Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems at our Sydney manufacturing plant. You will support rotating 12-hour shifts (4 on 4 off) and work with a team of tradesmen to ensure safe, reliable plant processing equipment.

Responsibilities include electrical maintenance, diagnostics, and plant improvements. You will need an Electrical Trade Certificate or higher and 5+ years in a heavy process environment, with hands-on fault finding and PLC

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in a heavy process manufacturing environment
• Electrical Trade Certificate or higher
• Experience with industrial control systems such as PLCs for diagnostic problem solving
• Servo drive and DC motor troubleshooting experience
• Aptitude for hands-on work with fault-finding and problem solving

Aufgaben

• Perform electrical maintenance and breakdown support to ensure reliable factory equipment
• Drawings: create or modify electrical circuit drawings
• Remove/install equipment and perform online preventative maintenance inspections
• Fault find and diagnose breakdowns on machinery and replace defective components
• Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, drive parameters and relative control systems
• Complete safety forms (JSA/CTW) and assist with plant improvement opportunities
