Job summary

FindStaff is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our engineering and industrial services team in Dandenong South. In this workshop role you will perform precision welding, repair, refurbishment and manufacture of components used on rotating equipment.

You will read drawings, fabricates parts for shafts, conveyors and machinery, and contribute to safe, efficient operations. The ideal candidate holds a trade qualification and has MIG and TIG welding skills, with a proven track

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Boilermaker or Fabricator.
• Proven MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Strong fabrication and repair skills in a workshop environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• High attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding repairs on industrial components.
• Fabricate and repair rotating equipment parts.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Assist with assembly and fitting work as required.
• Inspect finished work for quality and compliance.
• Maintain a safe, clean workshop.
