Job summary

GEO Healthcare, based in Melbourne, is seeking a Rosters Officer to join the People & Culture Team. You will coordinate staff rostering for Primary Healthcare Services across Victoria's public prisons, reporting to the Director, People & Culture.

This full-time role is based at the Melbourne CBD head office, with a start date as soon as possible and 5 days onsite per week. A strong focus on accuracy, Kronos rostering, payroll awareness and collaboration with Health Services Managers is essential.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and payroll decisions.
Maintain accurate rosters and respond to queries promptly.
Work onsite 5 days per week.

Opportunity for a Rosters Officer working with Health Services Managers to coordinate and complete staff rostering for a business providing Primary Healthcare Services to public prisons across Victoria.

Enjoy a central Melbourne location with a salary of $80,000 + Super.

About the role

The Rosters Officer is a key member of the People & Culture Team of GEO Healthcare and plays an integral role in the delivery of Primary Healthcare Services to public prisons in Victoria.

Based at GEO Healthcare’s Head Office in Melbourne CBD, and reporting to the Director, People & Culture and the Senior Human Resources Officer, you will work with the Health Services Managers to ensure that the rostering of staff in all GEO Healthcare locations meets the day-to-day operational needs of the locations and GEO Healthcare’s contractual obligations in relation to staff deployment.

Opportunity exists for Full Time, commencing as soon as possible.

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Analytical aptitude and ability.
Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
Ability to problem solve and to resolve queries in a timely manner.
High level interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Ability to communicate with staff in relation to decisions affecting payroll, leave and/or rosters.
Experience with MS Office software suite, including good grasp of spread-sheet concepts.
Ability to work effectively in a team and perform duties with a minimum of supervision.
Prior experience in (Kronos) Rostering/Time and Attendance and/or Payroll systems.
Prior experience working with expenses and/or budgets.

Other Requirements of the role:

Ability to work onsite 5 days per week.
Valid and current full Australian driver’s license.
Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
