Job summary

The GEO Healthcare team in Melbourne CBD is seeking a Rosters Officer to coordinate staff rosters for primary healthcare services provided to public prisons across Victoria. You will work with Health Services Managers to ensure rostering meets operational needs and contractual obligations.

This full-time role reports to the Director, People & Culture and the Senior Human Resources Officer. Based at our Melbourne head office, you will commence as soon as possible with a salary of AUD 80,000 plus

Qualifications

Experience with Kronos Rostering/Time and Attendance and/or Payroll systems.
Driver’s license (full Australian) and ability to work onsite five days per week.
Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and complete staff rostering to meet daily operational needs.
Collaborate with Health Services Managers to ensure rostering aligns with contractual obligations.
Maintain accuracy in rostering, payroll, and leave decisions.
Work onsite 5 days per week at the Melbourne head office.

Opportunity for a Rosters Officer working with Health Services Managers to coordinate and complete staff rostering for a business providing Primary Healthcare Services to public prisons across Victoria.

Enjoy a central Melbourne location with a salary of $80,000 + Super.

About the role

The Rosters Officer is a key member of the People & Culture Team of GEO Healthcare and plays an integral role in the delivery of Primary Healthcare Services to public prisons in Victoria.

Based at GEO Healthcare’s Head Office in Melbourne CBD, and reporting to the Director, People & Culture and the Senior Human Resources Officer, you will work with the Health Services Managers to ensure that the rostering of staff in all GEO Healthcare locations meets the day-to-day operational needs of the locations and GEO Healthcare’s contractual obligations in relation to staff deployment.

Opportunity exists for Full Time, commencing as soon as possible.

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Analytical aptitude and ability.
Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
Ability to problem solve and to resolve queries in a timely manner.
High level interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Ability to communicate with staff in relation to decisions affecting payroll, leave and/or rosters.
Experience with MS Office software suite, including good grasp of spread-sheet concepts.
Ability to work effectively in a team and perform duties with a minimum of supervision.
Prior experience in (Kronos) Rostering/Time and Attendance and/or Payroll systems.
Prior experience working with expenses and/or budgets.

Other Requirements of the role:

Ability to work onsite 5 days per week.
Valid and current full Australian driver’s license.
Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
