Job summary

GEO Healthcare delivers primary healthcare to men in public prisons across Victoria, and the Health Services Manager at Hopkins Correctional Centre will lead health service delivery to inmates and coordinate staffing and resources in a safe, evidence-based framework.

You will manage KPIs under the contract between GEO Healthcare and the Client, with the Hopkins site near Ararat and Ballarat. The role may involve after-hours work and requires security clearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a prison setting and direct contact with prisoners.
• Completion of National Criminal History Check.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Willingness to work outside ordinary business hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health services are delivered safely and in an evidence-based manner.
• Meet Key Performance Measures (KPMs) as per client contract.
• Oversee delivery of health services across Hopkins Centre.

About the roles

GEO Healthcare provides primary healthcare to men in Public Prisons across Victoria.

The Health Services Manager (HSM) is responsible for managing the provision of health services at Hopkins Correctional Centre including to ensure that the services are delivered in a safe and evidence-based manner.

The role is responsible for coordinating staffing and other resources at Hopkins Correctional Centre and for meeting Key Performance Measures (KPMs) in accordance with the contract between the Client and GEO Healthcare.

Other Requirements of the role:

• Ability to work within a prison setting, which will involve direct contact with people in prison associated with the delivery of healthcare.
