Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking an experienced Manager Rostering to lead the rostering function within Child, Youth & Family Services on the Australian East Coast. The role focuses on building capability, optimising rosters and ensuring continuity of support for vulnerable children and young people.

You'll lead a team of rostering professionals, while partnering with operational leaders to drive efficiency, compliance and sustainable workforce coverage.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level qualification or equivalent experience in administration, business studies or related field.
• Proven rostering, workforce planning or leadership experience.
• Experience leading and coaching rostering teams; ability to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of rostering professionals to deliver capable, cost-effective rosters.
• Oversee rostering operations to meet KPIs and workforce requirements with compliance.
• Provide rostering advice to operational leaders including planning and optimisation.
• Monitor rostering systems and drive standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Triage rostering issues and minimise disruption to service delivery.
• Promote culturally safe rostering practices and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth outcomes.
