Job summary

SRG Global Mining Services is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians to join our Geotechnical team across Western Australia. This is casual project work with multiple sites, offering ongoing opportunities and exposure to diverse mining and geotechnical environments.

You will perform rope access and ground support tasks as part of a skilled team, focusing on safety, quality and productivity while progressing your career with an established mining services company.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 1-3 certification is required.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Work Safely at Heights certification is required.
• C Class Manual Driver’s Licence is required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Willingness to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• National Police Clearance may be required.
• Elevated Work Platform certification is preferred.
• Previous geotechnical or mining experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rope access works safely and efficiently in line with project requirements.
• Complete rope access equipment inspections and pre-use checks.
• Install ground support anchors, mesh and related ground support systems.
• Mix and place grout to specification.
• Undertake testing as required.
• Operate pneumatic drills and other site equipment.
• Operate telehandlers, light vehicles and service trucks as needed.
• Maintain equipment and work areas to high standards.
• Liaise with Site Manager and Supervisors about work needs, hazards and issues.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.
