Job summary

SRG Global Mining Services is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians to join our Mining – Geotechnical team across Western Australia. This is casual ongoing project work supporting a range of mining and geotechnical projects.

As a Rope Access Technician, you will carry out rope access and geotechnical ground support activities on mining projects with a skilled team, focusing on safety and quality in high-angle environments.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 1/2/3 certification required.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• Work Safely at Heights certification required.
• Elevated Work Platform certification preferred.
• C Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rope access works safely and efficiently per project requirements.
• Complete rope access equipment inspections and pre-use checks.
• Install ground support anchors, mesh and related systems.
• Mix and place grout to specification.
• Operate site equipment and vehicles as required.
• Maintain equipment and work areas to a high standard.
• Liaise with Site Manager regarding work requirements, hazards and issues.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.
