Job summary

HD Glass Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Qualified Rope Access Glazier to join our Brisbane team. You will perform rope access glazing and façade remediation on high-rise buildings, prioritising safety, quality and efficient problem solving.

We provide modern rope access systems, company equipment, ongoing training and clear opportunities to progress into senior technician, team leader or project management roles as our business expands across South East Queensland.

Qualifications

• IRATA certification (Level 1–3) is required.
• Commercial rope access experience demonstrated in prior roles.
• Proven glazing experience with hands-on project exposure.
• Experience in façade remediation and defect rectification highly regarded.
• Current Construction White Card is required.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Comfortable working at heights in challenging environments.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Perform rope access glazing and façade remediation on high-rise buildings.
• Replace glass, perform glazing repairs, and complete façade defect rectifications.
• Conduct detailed façade and glazing inspections.
• Diagnose defects and implement practical remediation solutions.
• Measure, fit and install glazing systems to specification.
• Prepare inspection reports and project documentation.
• Work with project managers and clients to achieve quality outcomes.
• Maintain rope access equipment, tools, and safety systems.
• Contribute to a strong safety culture and high workmanship standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing rope access glazing and façade remediation works on high-rise commercial and residential buildings.
• Replacing glass, carrying out glazing repairs, and completing façade defect rectifications.
• Conducting detailed façade and glazing inspections.
• Diagnosing defects and developing practical remediation solutions.
• Measuring, fitting, and installing glazing systems to specification.
• Preparing and completing inspection reports and project documentation.

Essential Requirements

• Current IRATA certification (Level 1, 2 or 3).
