Job summary

Minor Hotels’ NH Collection Sydney is hiring a Rooms Division Manager to lead the pre-opening team and oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Guest Services. You will drive service standards, recruit and develop talent, and set up operating procedures for a successful opening.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will sustain high guest satisfaction, manage revenue performance, and lead a large, engaged team in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with Food

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Rooms Division Manager or senior hotel operations leader.
• Experience within premium, luxury or lifestyle hotel environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue performance, labour costs and departmental budgets.
• A track record of leading and developing large operational teams.
• A hands-on management style and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous pre-opening experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Job Description

NH Collection Sydney is seeking an exceptional Rooms Division Manager to join our pre-opening team and play a pivotal leadership role in bringing our newest hotel to life.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the Rooms Division operation, overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Guest Services.

This is a unique opportunity to establish service standards, build high-performing teams and create memorable guest experiences from day one.

About the Role

As Rooms Division Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all areas of the Rooms Division while ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Working as part of the pre-opening team, you will be instrumental in setting up operational procedures, recruiting and developing talent, implementing service standards and preparing the hotel for a successful opening. Once operational, you will continue to lead the day-to-day performance of the division, driving guest satisfaction, team engagement and commercial outcomes.
