NH Collection Sydney is seeking an exceptional Rooms Division Manager to lead Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Guest Services in our pre-opening phase, reporting to the General Manager.

You will recruit and develop talent, implement service standards, and set up operational procedures, then oversee day-to-day performance, driving guest satisfaction and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Rooms Division Manager or senior hotel operations leader.
• Experience within premium, luxury or lifestyle hotel environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue performance, labour costs and departmental budgets.
• A track record of leading and developing large operational teams.
• A hands-on management style with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead and oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, Maintenance and Guest Services operations.
• Drive guest satisfaction through personalised service, proactive engagement and effective service recovery.

• Manage room revenue performance, occupancy and departmental costs.
• Conduct regular quality reviews and implement initiatives to enhance the guest experience.
• Lead, coach and develop department leaders and team members to build a high-performing culture.
• Resolve complex guest concerns with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
• Foster collaboration across Rooms Division, Food & Beverage and Sales teams.
• Support pre-opening activities including recruitment, training, operational setup and service delivery planning.

NH Collection Sydney is seeking an exceptional Rooms Division Manager to join our pre-opening team and play a pivotal leadership role in bringing our newest hotel to life. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the Rooms Division operation, overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, Maintenance and Guest Services. This is a unique opportunity to establish service standards, build high-performing teams and create memorable guest experiences from day one.

About the Role

As Rooms Division Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all areas of the Rooms Division while ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Working as part of the pre-opening team, you will be instrumental in setting up operational procedures, recruiting and developing talent, implementing service standards and preparing the hotel for a successful opening. Once operational, you will continue to lead the day-to-day performance of the division, driving guest satisfaction, team engagement and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience within premium, luxury or lifestyle hotel environments.

• A track record of leading and developing large operational teams.

• Outstanding leadership, communication and organisational skills.
