Job summary

Young Academics is seeking a passionate Room Leader to manage the daily operation of the Cranebrook room and drive high-quality learning experiences. You will mentor educators, coordinate routines, and work with the Educational Leader and Centre Leadership Team to deliver engaging programs for children.

You will lead a collaborative, child-safe environment, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong communication with families and the team.

Qualifications

• Requires ACECQA-approved ECEC qualification
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support a team
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and NSW regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of your room and support a collaborative team culture.
• Mentor, guide and support educators, trainees, casuals and students within the room.
• Work with Educational Leader to develop and deliver engaging educational programs.
• Support supervision, room routines, documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and your team.
• Promote child safety, safeguarding and high-quality practice
