Job summary

Mini Masterminds Leichhardt is seeking a passionate Full-Time Room Leader to lead your classroom team and deliver high-quality education and care for children aged 0-2. Based at the 32-place Leichhardt centre, you will mentor educators and collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team to uphold excellent standards.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication and organisational skills, a genuine passion for mentoring staff, and a commitment to EYLF, NQF, and NQS compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Current Child Protection training/certificate.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF and NQS.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Genuine passion for mentoring educators and delivering high-quality education and care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor educators within your room through on-the-floor guidance and support.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through meaningful interactions.
• Ensure compliance with the NQF, NQS, and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and centre-wide goals.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture.
