The Grove Academy Mount Annan is seeking a Room Leader to guide and mentor a team of educators, delivering nurturing, milestone‑driven learning experiences for children. You will model best practice and uphold child safety across daily activities.

We value leaders who foster teamwork, strong relationships with families, and a positive, caring culture. A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required, with WWCC and Foundations of Child Safety training preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Proven experience leading a room and mentoring educators.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and child development.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Completed Foundations of Child Safety training or willing to complete prior to commencement.

Responsabilités

• Lead the delivery of innovative, fun and milestone‑aligned programs.
• Mentor and support educators in their professional growth.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families and team.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Observe, document and support children’s development.
• Ensure safety, health and wellbeing of all children at all times.
• Actively supervise children and manage environment risks.
• Report concerns or incidents according to service policies.
