Job summary

Maitland ELC is expanding its Maitland and Cessnock services and seeks Diploma-qualified educators to lead nursery rooms with a strong focus on child development and EYLF/NQS compliance.

Join a supportive team offering ongoing professional development, competitive wages, and commitments to quality care for children aged 0–6 years. Applicants must have relevant certifications and be prepared to obtain required checks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for working with children.
• Completed GECKO Training.

• Create a warm, welcoming, and secure environment for children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
• Observe and monitor children's growth, behavior, and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and evaluate curriculum.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.

As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Certificate III and Diploma qualified educators to join our team.
