LifeProof Roofing is seeking an experienced roof plumber to join our Melbourne-based crew. Starting 7.30am, Monday to Friday, with overtime; you’ll work on domestic repairs, small to mid-size re-roofs, and complex projects within 40 km of Mulgrave.

You’ll use video inspections on your phone, follow JSA safety protocols, and record notes in ServiceM8 before leaving. A take-home vehicle is provided and tools are supplied for bigger jobs.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Plumbing, including the roofing (stormwater) stream.
• Registered with the BPC for roofing (stormwater).
• A current driver's licence.
• A white card.
• Valid work rights in Australia.

Responsabilités

• Perform roofing repairs and leaks, solo or in a small team.
• Assist with larger re-roofs with supervisor.

Roof plumber, $50 to $65 an hour plus super, work vehicle supplied.

LifeProof Roofing is a family-owned business in Melbourne's east and south east, started in 2019. We do domestic repairs and re-roofs, and we aim to work within 40 km of Mulgrave. We're booked out 5 to 6 weeks and we need another roof plumber on the crew.

7.30am start, Monday to Friday, overtime available. The scope and the video inspection are on your phone before you leave, so you know what you're walking into.

JSA on your phone, harness on and clipped in or guard rail in place, then up.

Most days it's repairs and leak jobs you run yourself or in a team. On bigger re-roofs you work with our operations manager or our lead roof plumber.

We take on the hard ones: complex roofs and box gutters, done to the standard, with performance solutions and Dambuster products. We fix the cause, not just swap the material.

When the roof isn't what the video showed, you work out why and bring the options back.

Photos and notes in ServiceM8 before you leave, so nobody rings you later asking what you did.

The hard parts, honestly: hot tin in summer, wet make-safes in winter, steep roofs, all at height with fall protection. Weekday overtime to get jobs finished can be common. Saturdays are rare unless requested.
