Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair metal roofing systems.

• Coordinate material orders and deliveries to hit timelines.
• Work to WHS requirements and at heights.
• Document work with photos and progress reports.
• Collaborate with team and other trades to uphold quality.

We're looking for an experienced roof plumbing subcontractor who takes pride in their trade and has an eye for detail. You'll work across a steady pipeline of residential jobs, roof leaks, re-roofing, gutter and downpipe replacement, flashings, box gutters and storm-damage repairs. Every job is different, and we value subbies who turn up on time, communicate well, and leave the site clean and the customer happy.

Key responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance and repairs on metal roofing systems
• Gutter, downpipe, flashing and box gutter repair and replacement
• Diagnosing and repairing roof leaks and storm damage
• Working from job details, site drawings and specs where required
• Managing your own material orders and deliveries to hit job timelines
• Working strictly to Work Health & Safety requirements, including working at heights
• Documenting completed work with photos and progress reports
• Coordinating with our team and other trades, and upholding our reputation for quality

About you

• Proven roof plumbing experience (5+ years preferred)
• Your own ABN and current Public Liability insurance
• Reliable vehicle and your own tools
• Solid understanding of Australian Standards and WHS practices
• White Card and Working at Heights certification
• Driver's license
• Strong communication skills and a problem-solving attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a crew
