You will work in an existing service team, delivering accurate, timely service to clients and striving for high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has service/maintenance plumbing, roofing and gas fitting experience, plus installation, maintenance and repair capabilities.

Schafer & Co Pty Ltd, trading as O’Brien Plumbing, Australia’s leading electrical and plumbing services company, is looking to hire a skilled plumber for the position of ‘Journeyman or Licensed Plumber’ in the Wollongong region.

You will have the opportunity to work within an existing team in the service sector. You will work towards client satisfaction with accurately and swiftly delivered service.

The successful applicant will be a person that possesses the following skills and attributes:

• Has service/maintenance plumbing experience
• Has roofing experience
• Gas fitting experience
• Installation, maintenance and repairing experience
• Has the ability to liaise with existing clients
• High customer service skills and professional presentation
• Displays strong communication skills for liaising with customers
• Advanced understanding and use of cloud-based field technology

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role and hold the following:

• Trade certificate or Plumbing Licence
• 3 years relevant work experience
• OH&S Induction Training for the Construction Industry
• Perform tasks safely, identify and minimise hazards within sphere of work
• Backflow Prevention and TMV experience
• Setting out and installing hot and cold water systems, water-base fire protection systems, fire hydrants, hose reels and sprinkler systems
• Experience operating CCTV and Water Jetter
• Current NSW Manual Drivers Licence
