Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Rolling Stock Engineer to join our Perth rail and mass transit team. You will contribute to building the Rolling Stock capability in Perth as well as across Australia and New Zealand.

The role covers both passenger and heavy haul projects, including new build design, commissioning, operations, maintenance strategy development, and standards interpretation. You will work in a collaborative environment with extensive training and career pathways.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer in Mechanical engineering.
• Graduates with 3 years’ experience in the field will be considered.
• Experience in rolling stock or rail engineering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• New build design/commissioning/operations for rolling stock
• Rolling stock maintenance strategy development and management
• Understanding Australasian/European/American standards development and interpretation
• Rolling stock lease and Whole Life Cost model development and management
