Job summary

Healthscope is seeking an experienced Robotic Urology Coordinator (Perioperative) at Norwest Private Hospital in Sydney's NSW region. You will lead the Robotic Urology program, coordinate robotic lists and work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

As a clinical leader, you will mentor perioperative staff, drive quality improvements, ensure ACORN and safety standards, and participate in a 7-day on-call roster, contributing to a high-acuity,

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Scrub/Scout Nurse in Urology, including robotic procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach, coach and support staff development.
• Flexible with rotating shifts, evenings, on-call, and some Saturdays.
• Solid understanding of ACORN standards and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the Robotic Urology program
• Manage robotic surgical lists to ensure efficient theatre operations
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre teams
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to perioperative nursing staff
• Promote quality improvement initiatives
• Support ongoing education and professional development
• Ensure compliance with ACORN standards and legislation
• Contribute to risk management and patient safety activities
